May Favourites

I've haven't done a monthly favourites post yet so I thought I may as well do one. On the first of every month I shall do a monthly favourites post, so on the 1st of July I shall do a June favourites post. I think it's better doing a monthly favourites post when it's been a full month.

Here are my May favourites:

These are the products that I've reached out for the most more than any others. Most definitely my favourite products this month.

VO5 Give Me Texture Oomph Powder - £4.00 or 2 for £5.00 - Available at ASDA

Not only does this make my hair superly mahoosive, it also smells lovely. It's the best hair volumising product that I own and I will definitely re-purchase once I've finished the bottle. It's like big hair in a bottle.

Urban Decay Big Fatty Waterproof Mascara - £15.00 - Available at Beauty Bay

I used to use L'Oreal Million Lashes mascara but since finding out that L'Oreal test on animals, I haven't used it. Instead I've been using my 100% cruelty free Urban Decay Big Fatty Waterproof mascara. This mascara is actually amazing, it separates my lashes perfectly and it makes my lashes appear fuller and longer. I have to say that this mascara is my HG mascara and for those who are baffled by 'HG' then it simply means 'Holy Grail'.

Clarins Instant Light Lip Perfector - £15.00 - Available at Clarins

The Clarins Instant Light Lip Perfector is intended to be used as a lipgloss but in my opinion it isn't glossy enough to be a lipgloss.
Instead I use this as a lip primer and I have to say that it works as a fabulous lip primer! I suffer from extremely dry lips which means that sometimes I cannot wear my matte lipsticks. I started using the lip perfector a month ago and my lips have never felt better, they aren't dry whatsoever and I can even wear my matte lipsticks.
When applying my makeup, I basically apply the lip perfector to my lips once I've primed my face, this allows it to sink into my lips before applying lipstick.

Sleek Original i-Divine Palette - £6.49 - Available at Sleek

I have used this palette so much this month, especially the pale pink colour. It's such a lovely colour because it contains both pink and gold, it looks amazing on it's own or used with other colours. This palette is brilliant, both in terms of quality and colour variety. I cannot wait until the release of the new Sleek Mediterranean collection the Monaco palette looks fab!

Nars Highlighting Powder in 'Albatross' - £20.50 - Available at Nars

This highlighting powder needs no explaining, it's amazing. It's a little bit pricey but it's 100% worth every penny.

Nars Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base - £18.50 - Available at Nars

The Nars Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base is excellent, a truly amazing eyeshadow primer.I recently posted about this too so if you'd like to see my views on this then click on this link; My Top 3 Primers

MAC Viva Glam Gaga Lipstick - £13.50 - Available at MAC

The MAC Viva Glam Gaga lipstick has to be one of my favourite pink lipsticks. It's such a lovely colour and it's also a sheen lipstick meaning nice, comfortable, glossy lips.

Bobbi Brown Touch Up Stick in '00 - Porcelain' - £18.00 -Available at Bobbi Brown

This is the only concealer that doesn't break me out. It's a medium/full coverage concealer and it is available in a huge variety of shades, meaning there is a shade for every skin tone. I find it difficult to find the perfect concealer or foundation because I can never shades to match my skin tone, they are always too dark. The good thing with this concealer is that it matches my skin tone perfectly. It's also extremely blend-able and you don't have to use much of it, definitely my HG concealer.

Hope you liked my May favourites!
