Today - with bub on hand (quite a challenge to be out at the shops with a 10 and a half week old for the first time by yourself I must say - even for a brief moment!) - I went ahead and picked up my fourth Mecca Beauty Loop Box of the year. These are available to Beauty Loop members from 21st October to 4th November, or while stocks last. Here's a sneak peek of what's inside the Level 3 box and quote their product descriptions in case you were interested. As with the previous box, there are four products included, but again, no full-sized ones unfortunately. Still, there's some pretty good and exciting new, deluxe-sized products for me to try...
// Nars Audacious Mascara (3 ml / 0.12 oz)
This is the latest and greatest mascara from Nars to replace the existing ones. "Lashes are lengthened, amplified and coated from roots to tips". It has a rather mean looking brush...perhaps even slightly intimidating(!), but I can't wait to try this, especially given Wayne Goss' rave review on it (watch it here).
// Darphin Intensive Treatment (4 ml / 0.14 fl. oz)
"Restores healthy-looking radiance to damaged skin and guards against dehydration". Sounds good to me. :) I have been enjoying the deluxe sample of Darphin's beauty cream from the previous box (see it here).
// Bareminerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in 'Make Your Move'
"A super-saturated, ultra-pigmented, creamy lipstick that provides full coverage with a rich, satin finish". Believe it or not, I had not tried anything from Bareminerals until now! >_< 'Make Your Move' is a "soft neutral pink" lippy so it should suit many skin tones. I've just had a quick try of it and really liking how it looks on me. It can be tricky to find good, neutral/"nude" type shades for my medium, olive skin, but this is a good one. :) It has a delicious scent, too.
// Perricone MD No Foundation Foundation (7.5 ml / 0.25 fl. oz)
"This foundation, formulated with Alpha Lipoic Acid and Vitamin C Ester, works to reduce the look of wrinkles and pores, correct undertones and protect with a mineral based SPF 30". This is another brand I've not tried! I love a "no makeup" makeup look, so this sounds perfect for achieving just that. I'm very curious and can't wait to try this product out.
